Smart Guard deploys IP Cameras at Kankaria Carnival, Ahmedabad

Smart Guard Systems, an Ahmedabad based Surveillance and Security products manufacturer , has deployed a few Network cameras from its range of Network Fixed Dome Surveillance cameras and a few Box type Surveillance Camera at Kankaria Carnival in order to strengthen security and surveillance to avoid any troublesome incident during the festival. As the weeklong Kankaria Carnival starts on 25th December, which has been organized by Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC). It is believed that the carnival is likely to attract more than 15 lakh people due to absence of any entry fee.

Eminent personalities including the Hon. Chief Minister Shri Narendra Modi have been attending the celebrations at Carnival and hence it becomes essential for the security personnel and police officials to accentuate the tight security and stringent safety measures.

As part of precautionary measures, police officials have erected some security towers at various places, put metal detectors and kept rigorous checking at the entry gates. They deployed a Smart Guard fixed dome surveillance camera at a security tower and another fixed dome surveillance camera at stage near the performance area in order to monitor the suspicious activities. Smart Guard Box surveillance camera is deployed at entrance to keep close eyes on people who are entering the venue. At the same time, Smart Guard NVR is deployed at control room for recording of live feed of the cameras.




The cameras are capable of capturing the video in dark night with high resolution image quality. With the help of Smart Guard surveillance products, security personnel is closely monitoring entire event from onsite control room.
