This 16 Channel digital video recorder plays four operations: live, recording, playback, and networking with H.264 video compression. One can add video device of his or her own choice because there are three main monitor outputs — BNC, VGA, and DVI. More than 8000 GB can be stored as the recorders come with data storage of four SATA hard disks, one external hard disk and one disk array along with backup options available in the form of USB drives for flash disks and external hard drive, and a DVD writer.

The recorder supports remote recording along with local recording via the Internet Explorer browser and content management software. All the 16 channels can be monitored and the DVR also comes with PTZ functionality for video viewing. Playback and recording can be done simultaneously in all the 16 channels. There are 16 inputs for the channels with one output. The DVR also supports motion detection along with multi-language selection making a worthy addition to one’s security arsenal.
